Description
The walled garden at Argrennan House dates from the late 18th century and measures 100 meters by 50 meters. It is situated on south-facing sloping ground to the southeast of Argrennan House. The walls are constructed of rubble with contrasting quoins and dressings, featuring a coped wallhead and standing approximately 4.5 meters high. There is some brick lining and repair work present. The external wall includes lean-to sheds, while the interior contains a lean-to greenhouse along with a later neighbouring gabled greenhouse. The garden features plain pedestrian gateways and a decorative wrought-iron gate.
