Description

This is a barn located 15 yards behind Eashing Farm House, dating from the mid to late 18th century, with a 20th-century extension at the rear. The structure features a timber frame set on a brick and sandstone base, with additional cement block and brick elements at the back. The front is clad in weatherboarding and topped with a plain tiled, half-hipped roof, while the pentice extensions have a corrugated iron roof. The barn is rectangular in shape and has central entrances on opposite sides, with the front entrance sheltered by a hipped roof projection. Inside, there is a staggered butt purlin roof supported by diagonal braces on the wall frames. This barn is included in the listing for its group value.
