31 High Street is a late 16th-century building that stands two storeys high. It features a whitened roughcast exterior, likely over timber framing, and has two gables, with the left gable including a small attic window. The left gable also has a three-light sash window and a late 18th-century double bowed shop front with an enriched frieze and cornice, along with later glazing. There is a central shop entrance. The right side has an old window on the first floor with glazing bars, as well as a small 19th-century shop window and door. The building is topped with slate roofs. The return side features two sash windows on the first floor, two small windows, and a door on the ground floor, along with a similar single bowed shop front.
