Description
The Former King William IV Public House is an early 19th-century building located at No 19 High Street in Ewell. It is constructed of stucco and features a flat pitched slate roof. The building stands two storeys tall and has three sash windows set in cased frames. The ground floor showcases a Victorian bar front, which is divided by Corinthian plasterwork and decorated with polychromatic glazed tiles, including a frieze and cornice. The plate glass windows on the ground floor have etched decoration. There is also a swinging sign on an iron bracket positioned between the upper floor windows. The building is part of a group that includes Nos 9 to 17 (odd) and No 21.
