Description
Thames Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with 19th century additions. It features whitewashed brick cladding and a plain tiled roof with end ridge stacks. The building has two storeys and an attic, which is accentuated by three pedimented dormers. There are plat bands over both the ground and first floors, and the eaves are boarded. The first floor includes three glazing bar sash windows, while the central entrance has a six-panel door beneath a 19th century pedimented hood supported by brackets. To the left, there is a two-storey 19th century addition built on a rendered plinth, which has one glazing bar sash window on the ground floor and one casement window above. The rear wing has a slate roof. Inside, timber framing is visible.
