Description
Cold Blow is a cottage dating from the 16th century, with additions from the 17th century. It features a timber frame, with thin scantling used for the additions, and is clad in brick at the base, while the ends are whitewashed and the upper part is tile hung. The roof is plain tiled and has a ridge stack on the left side. The cottage retains the remains of a lobby entry hall. It is two storeys high and has 19th-century casement windows, except for a vertical sash window on the left side of the first floor. There are two windows across the first floor. A plank door is located at the left end, sheltered by a gabled porch supported by wooden posts. There are also some outside additions to the side.
