Description

The granary located to the north of Alderstead Farmhouse is a small structure that dates back to the 18th century. It is built with a timber frame and is weather-boarded, standing on staddles. The roof is near-pyramidal and covered with tiles. The granary consists of two bays and features a queen post roof truss, with small arch braces supporting the tie beam. Inside, there are three large original grain bins.
