Description
Dean Farm is a house dating from the 17th century, with additions from the 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features parallel ranges with plain tile roofs, including a gable end stack on the right. The building has two storeys, with a catslide extension to the left and a modern extension to the right. The windows are casement style, with three on the first floor and segmental heads on the ground floor windows. There is a central boarded door located beneath a gabled tiled porch hood.
Inside, the farmhouse retains its original staircase and has a blocked deep fireplace. The ground floor right-hand room features 18th-century panelling.
The farmhouse is part of a group that includes farm buildings to the north.
