Description
Hoath Farm House is a late 17th century building with 18th century additions, located on Harps Oak Lane in Merstham. The entrance front features the older section, which is two storeys high with two windows on the left. It is constructed from malmstone rubble with red brick dressings and has a hipped tiled roof with a small brick stack at the ridge end. There is one gabled dormer that breaks the eaves and modern small paned casements. To the right, there are two gabled extensions; the first is a single storey with two bays, and the second is two storeys with one bay, both having hipped tiled roofs. The extensions are made of red brick and have cambered arches above the small paned casements. The entrance features a plain boarded door beneath a bracketed cornice hood, with a modern open stone porch added to the right. Hoath Farm House and the barn to the north-east form a group.
