Description

The gate piers to the former Mount Felix were built in 1835 by Sir Charles Barry. They consist of yellow brick walls with stone entrance piers. The square gate piers are approximately 10 feet high and 8 feet apart, featuring rusticated surfaces, moulded plinths, arched niches on the front, and moulded, bracketed tops that contain a coat of arms. To the left, there is a quadrant wall that is about 6½ feet high and 30 feet long, which includes five blocked roundels.
