Description

This lamp post, located 50 yards south of North Lodge in Whiteley Village, dates from around 1912. It is made of cast iron and features a square, four-legged base with a diagonally framed basket top. The lamp post has a tapering standard with a lantern that includes a decorative finial, supported by a double scroll-work arm with an S-curve design.
