Description

This lamp post, located 25 yards northwest of No. 43 in Whiteley Village, dates from around 1912. It is made of cast iron and features a four-legged square base with a diagonally framed basket top. The lamp post has a tapering standard that supports a lantern, which is topped with a decorative finial and is held by a double scroll-work S-curve arm.
