Description

This lamp post, located 15 yards northwest of No. 33 in Whiteley Village, dates from around 1912. It is made of cast iron and features a square four-legged base. The lamp has a diagonally framed basket top that supports a tapering standard with a lantern. The lantern is topped with a decorative finial and is mounted on a double scroll-work arm that curves in an S-shape.
