Description

This is a lamp post located opposite No. 13 on Chestnut Avenue in Whiteley Village, dating from around 1912. It is made of cast iron and features a square base with a diagonally framed basket top. The lamp post has a four-legged tapering standard and a lantern topped with a decorative finial, which is supported by a doubled scroll-work S-curve arm.
