Description

Lamp post opposite number 52 on Octagon Road in Whiteley Village, dating from around 1912. It is made of cast iron and features a square, four-legged base with a diagonally framed basket top. The lamp post has a tapering standard with a lantern that includes a decorative finial, supported by a double, scroll-work, S-curve arm.
