Description

This lamp post, located 40 yards southwest of South Model Cottage in Whiteley Village, dates from around 1912. It is made of cast iron and features a square four-legged base with a diagonally framed basket top. The lamp post has a tapering standard with a lantern that includes a decorative finial, supported by a double scroll-work arm in an S-curve design.
