Description

North Lodge is a lodge to the village, built around 1912 by Frank Atkinson. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tiled roof with a central ridge stack. The building is one storey with an attic, which includes a flat-roofed dormer. To the left, there is a hipped roof break with a plain band running over the ground floor and along the eaves. The ground floor has two casement windows with gauged heads. The central entrance consists of a half-glazed door set in a porch recess, flanked by one freestanding square pier on the right and half piers on the left. The porch lintel is made of gauged brick, and there are plain bands on the piers.
