Description
Green Arden is a house located in East Molesey, originally built in the early 18th century, with later modifications from the late 18th century and additional changes in the 19th century. The front of the house is rendered, with whitewashed return fronts, and features a hipped plain tiled roof on the left side, while the main block has a slate roof. There are chimney stacks positioned at the rear left and left of center. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a gable front bay on the right side that includes double arched windows supported by cill brackets. The main block has five glazing bar sash windows on the first floor, and two more in the gable front bay to the right, all set within projecting architrave surrounds with cill brackets. A half-glazed door is situated in a deep reveal beneath a flat porch hood supported by brackets, located to the left of center. The left-hand return front consists of three bays, featuring two glazing bar sash windows on the upper level and casement windows on the ground floor, with a central four-panel door.
