Description

This is a house located on Steady's Lane, dating from the mid to late 17th century. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and features a half-hipped thatch roof. The building has a brick ridge stack and a right end stack made of stone, which is finished in 20th-century brick. The house has a three-unit plan and consists of one storey with an attic, displaying a three-window range. A timber lintel is present over a 20th-century door. There are stop-chamfered timber lintels above 19th-century three-light casements and horned two-pane sashes, along with two similar four-pane sashes and a 19th-century three-light casement in the dormers. The interior and rear of the house have not been inspected but are likely to be of interest.
