Description

House at 11 Stanton Harcourt, dating from the 17th century, features a timber frame rendered over a limestone rubble plinth and has a half-hipped thatch roof with a brick ridge stack. The building has a two-unit plan, is one storey high with an attic, and has a two-window range with late 19th century two-light casements. The entrance is located at the rear. Inside, there are chamfered beams and exposed timber framing with jowled and braced posts. The roof consists of a three-bay collar-truss design with curved windbraces and butt purlins.
