Description
This is a house located at 52 Wood Green, dating from the mid to late 17th century. It is constructed of uncoursed limestone rubble and features a gabled stone slate roof with an end stack made of stone finished in brick. The house has a three-unit plan and is two storeys high, with a three-window range. There is a timber lintel above the central 20th-century door, and stop-chamfered timber lintels over 19th-century three-light casement windows and a 20th-century window above the door. Similar lintels are found over 20th-century windows in a 17th-century gabled two-storey projection to the right. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
