Description

This is a farmyard wall located approximately 2 meters to the east of Pomfret Castle Farmhouse. It dates from the late 17th century to the early 18th century and is constructed of coursed squared marlstone topped with a flat ashlar coping. The wall stands about 1 meter high and stretches 8 meters long, forming the western boundary of the farmyard. It is included for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
