Description

The stable block and service wing adjoining Finstock Manor House to the west is likely from the late 17th century, with some later alterations. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and features a stone slate roof. The building is one storey high with an attic and has an irregular T-shaped plan, with a gabled cross-wing that projects to the right. There is an integral stone end stack at the rear of the cross-wing.

On the left side, there are two small gabled dormers, each with small-paned, two-light wooden casements. The cross-wing has a 20th-century three-light metal attic casement with a wooden lintel, along with additional ground-floor casements on the left-hand return. A through carriageway with a wooden lintel is located to the right, at the angle of the cross-wing. The left side features various blocked windows and doors, indicated by straight joints, as well as a boarded door with a wooden lintel in the left-hand gable end. The rear of the building has gabled wings on both the left and right sides, and a gabled eaves dormer in the center with a boarded loft door. The interior has not been inspected.
