It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and features wooden lintels, topped with a Stonesfield-slate roof and a rubble gable stack. The cottage has a single-unit plan with a rear outshut and stands two storeys tall plus an attic. The front of the building includes a 2-light leaded casement window positioned to the left of centre, with a single-light casement window above it that contains very old glass. The entrance is located in the chimney wall to the left. The right gable wall has casements on all three floors. The interior has not been inspected.
