SP2604-2704 ALVESCOT STATION ROAD 9/20 (North-east side) Gatepier, wall and railings 12/09/55 20m WSW of Shill House (Formerly listed as under Home Farmhouse (curtilage))

GV II One of a pair gatepiers, with attached dwarf wall and railings. Gatepier is C18, of rusticated ashlar with moulded cornice and ball finial. Dwarf wall is C19, of coursed rubble stone with stone coping, and is surmounted by C19 wrought-iron railings, with small spearhead finials. Wall and railings follow boundary along road and then curve in towards pier. Included for group value.
