Description

This is a cartshed with a stable bay located 40 metres northwest of Park Farmhouse. It was remodelled in the mid to late 19th century from an 18th-century building. The structure is made of coursed rubble limestone, featuring ashlar piers and a weatherboarded gable, topped with a stone slate roof. The right side has a three-bay cartshed that is open at the front, supported by wooden lintels on stop-chamfered square piers with chamfered capitals. The stable bay on the left includes a stable door with a wooden lintel. Inside, the tie-beam and collar trusses date from the late 18th century. This building is included for its group value.
