Description
This is a stable and cartshed built in the 18th century, located approximately 20 meters southeast of Vine Farmhouse. It is constructed from coursed rubble limestone and features a stone slate roof. The rectangular stable, which has a loft, runs from north to south and is attached to a north-facing cartshed on the west side. There are two stable doorways on the west side, with a small window opening between them. A loft hole is located at the rear, and there is a loft doorway with a timber lintel and a plank door at the north end, accessible by a flight of stone steps. The three-bay cartshed, which is cranked at the end, has round rubble-built piers. This building is included for its group value.
