Description

Tooley’s Cottage is a small house dating primarily from the late 17th century, with a 20th-century extension. It is constructed of limestone rubble with wooden lintels, and has a thatched roof with concrete plain tiles and rubble stacks. The original house comprises two units, extended to form an L-shaped plan. It has one storey and an attic. The irregular front elevation features a doorway set to the right of centre, alongside two two-light casement windows. A half dormer is present on the right. A central ridge stack rises from the roof. A rear wing returns from the left side. The interior has not been inspected.
