Description

The Cottage is a small house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble with wooden lintels and features a Stonesfield-slate roof with a rubble gable stack. The building has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys plus an attic. The front has an irregular arrangement of two windows, with tall two-light casements on the first floor, both featuring stop-chamfered lintels. To the left of the central doorway is a taller casement, and to the right is a short three-light casement. The right gable includes an attic window. The interior has not been inspected. The Cottage is included for its group value.
