Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and features Stonesfield-slate roofs with ashlar-and-brick stacks. The building has an L-shaped plan and consists of two storeys plus an attic.
The front elevation has a symmetrical arrangement with three bays to the left and a five-window front that breaks forward. This includes tall windows with renewed cross casements and a central doorway, all topped with ashlar flat arches. The steep-pitched roof is adorned with three gabled roof dormers and is flanked by chimney stacks. The two-window section to the right has shorter casements and a second doorway, which has been altered to a window, along with a larger roof dormer. The left gable wall features a chimney projection. The rear of the building has additional tall windows, a central 20th-century porch, and a lower wing that extends from the right. The interior has not been inspected.
