Description
This outbuilding, located approximately 5 meters north of Pike Cottage, dates from around 1800. It is constructed from coursed marlstone rubble and features wooden lintels. The roof is thatched, with a brick lateral stack. The building has a two-bay plan, with a central plank door at the front and a 2-light casement window at the rear, which may have been added later. Inside, there is a copper located in the corner, and the principal rafters meet at the apex of the roof. This structure is included for its group value with Pike Cottage.
