Description

This is a former house, now a shop, located in West Street, Chipping Norton. The building retains a 17th-century core, significantly altered in the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed and squared rubble stone, with a gabled machine tiled roof and a stone stack at the south end, topped with a brick cap. The building is two storeys high with an attic, and features a single-window facade. The attic has a dormer window with a two-light casement. The upper floor has a six-pane tripartite sash window, while the ground floor incorporates a 20th-century canted bay and a 20th-century glazed door.
