Description

Stocks is a house dating from the 16th century, with some alterations made in the 17th century. It features small timber framing with painted brick infill and a thatched roof that is hipped to the right. The house has a brick stack at the left end and a ridge stack to the right of the center. It is a single storey with an attic and has a four-window range. There is a plank door located to the left of the center, which is topped by a flat hood. The windows are irregularly arranged, mostly consisting of 2-light casements. There are gabled dormers located at the center and to the right of the center. A base-cruck truss can be found on the left return. The interior has not been inspected.
