Description
Ruggs is a house dating from the 16th to 17th century, with later alterations. It has a timber-framed structure that is rendered, topped with a thatched roof and features red brick stacks. At the rear, there is a weatherboarded range. The front range is single-storey with an attic, while the left side has a single-storey rear range. The entrance includes a half-glazed 20th-century door within a timber porch, and there are three 20th-century two-light casement windows. A gabled dormer also contains a 20th-century casement. The roof is steeply pitched and hipped on the left side. There is an off-centre stack on the left and a large stepped external stack on the right. The interior has not been inspected.
