Description

This is a house, dated 1548 to the left return. It is constructed with a rendered plinth, small timber framing with rendered infill, and a thatched roof, featuring a brick ridge stack in the centre. The main block is two storeys high and has a two-window front. A three-light wooden casement window is located on the ground floor to the left, and a two-light wooden casement is to the right. The first floor has a three-light casement with leaded lights to the left, and a two-light casement with leaded lights to the right. A plank door is situated on the left return. A single-storey extension, likely constructed of cob, extends to the right end, and is also thatched. The interior has not been inspected. The property also includes a reference to a former name "The Laurences, Watery Lane."
