Description
College Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early 18th century, possibly with earlier origins, and features a late 19th-century bay on the right. The building is constructed of uncoursed limestone rubble to the left and coursed limestone rubble to the right of the door. It has a Welsh slate roof, with a brick stack and a stone stack located at the rear left. The farmhouse is designed in an L-plan and stands two storeys tall with a five-window range.
There are chamfered timber lintels above a late 19th-century six-panelled door, which is topped by a large gabled hood. The windows include early to mid-19th-century sashes and late 19th-century sashes in the right bay. The gabled roof features a ridge stack and a gable end stack on the rear left, while a late 18th or early 19th-century two-storey wing made of similar materials is located at the rear right, complete with an outshut to the left. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
