Description

Home Farmhouse is a building comprising an early 18th-century bay to the right and a later 18th-century bay to the left. The right bay is constructed of Flemish bond brick with flared headers, while the left bay is of uncoursed limestone rubble with brick quoins and bands. The roof is covered in old tiles, and there is a brick stack. The farmhouse follows a two-unit, lobby-entry plan and has two storeys with a two-window range. Segmental arches feature over a 20th-century door and casements. A gabled roof is present, with a ridge stack. A two-storey, one-bay block to the rear right was remodelled when a late 19th-century bay was added to the rear. The first floor and attic were not inspected but are likely to be of interest.
