Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century, with alterations and extensions made in the 19th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble with wooden lintels and features plain-tile and Welsh-slate roofs, including rebuilt gable stacks. The building is L-shaped and has two storeys plus an attic. The main front has three windows, with a narrow added bay to the left. The windows are mostly 4-pane sashes, except for a canted 19th-century bay window on the right. The added bay has a similar sash window on the first floor. To the left of the centre is a four-panel door that has a flat canopy supported by shaped brackets with dentil decoration. The house features three gabled roof dormers. The end walls have large chimney projections, with the left side masked by the added bay and a two-storey 19th-century wing that is set back. The rear of the house has some stop-chamfered lintels and includes a full-height stair projection at the angle of the two-storey rear wing, which returns from the left and has leaded casements. The interior has not been inspected.
