Description
End Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century, with a later 18th-century bay added to the left. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled Welsh slate roof, which has a late 17th-century ball finial on the left. The building includes a large late 17th-century brick ridge stack and a late 19th-century brick end stack to the right. The farmhouse has been extended from a 2-unit to a 3-unit plan and stands two storeys high with a four-window range. There are timber lintels above a 20th-century door, late 19th-century plate-glass sash windows, and a 6-pane sash window to the left. At the rear, there is a late 19th-century outshut that adjoins a late 18th-century rear left wing made of similar materials. Inside, there are chamfered beams in the range on the right and a chamfered bressumer over an open fireplace to the left, while a plain unchamfered beam is found in the room on the left. A partial inspection of the interior has been conducted.
