Description
Meadow Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century that was restored in the 20th century. It features a 20th-century brick plinth and irregular timber-framing with rendered infill. The roof is covered with plain tiles, also from the 20th century, and there is a 20th-century brick ridge stack at the center and an end stack to the right. The house is two stories high and has a two-window range. All openings have 5-light wood mullion and transom windows, except for a wood oriel window on the first floor to the right. There is a 20th-century door at the rear. To the right, there is a single-storey-and-attic addition built on a tall basement, with brick at the basement level and large timber-framing with rendered infill above, also topped with a 20th-century plain-tile roof. All openings in this addition have 20th-century windows. The interior has not been inspected.
