Description

This is a mid-18th century house located on Stirrings Road in Wantage. The house is constructed of Flemish bond brick, featuring flared headers, and has an old tile roof. There are no chimney stacks. The building follows a two-unit plan and is arranged over two storeys with an attic. It has a two-window front. Segmental arches are above the 20th-century front door and the three-light casement windows. The eaves are dentilled, and there are 20th-century dormers in the gambrel roof. A 20th-century extension is located at the rear left side of the building.
