Description

57 Grove Street is a house that has been converted into a salon. It likely originated as a hall in the 15th century and was floored over in the early 17th century. The front features imitation stone ashlar, while the side walls are rendered. The building has an old tiled roof and a brick stack. It has a single-unit plan, is two storeys high, and has a two-window range. The mid-20th century front includes a 20th-century door and casements. The roof is gabled, with a gable end stack on the right. Inside, there are chamfered 17th-century beams and joists on the ground floor, and a two-bay full-cruck roof.
