Description

This is a house located at 11 Bristle Hill, dating from the mid-18th century and altered in the 20th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, featuring some flared headers, and has a slate roof with brick end stacks. The building has a two-unit plan and is two stories high with a two-window range. The central entrance consists of a six-panel, part-glazed door, which is accessed by three stone steps and is framed by a moulded wood surround and wood lintel. The ground and first floors have 12-pane sash windows with segmental-arched heads. There is a rendered plinth and a small two-light cellar window to the right, along with dentilled brick eaves. Inside, the house features stop-chamfered spine beams.
