Description
These stables, dating from the 18th century, are located approximately 5 meters northwest of Chilswell Farmhouse in Cumnor, Boar's Hill. The building is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and features a half-hipped stone slate roof, with 20th-century tiles on the rear. It is a single storey with a two-window range. The entrance has a 20th-century door with timber lintels above, flanked by windows. Inside, there are chamfered beams, and the loft has a three-bay post-and-pad roof. The stables are included for their group value with the farmhouse.
