Description
These stables, located approximately 20 meters northeast of Swinford Farmhouse, date from the late 18th century. They are constructed of coursed limestone rubble and feature a half-hipped roof covered with old tiles. The building is one storey high with a loft and consists of a two-bay range. A timber lintel spans a plank door, and stone steps lead up to another plank door that provides access to the granary above. The interior has not been inspected. These stables are included for their group value with the farmhouse.
