Description

These stables, located approximately 30 meters east of Lodge Farmhouse, date from the early to mid-18th century. They are constructed from limestone rubble with squared quoins and feature an old plain-tile roof. The building is a single range, consisting of one storey plus a loft. The front has two stable doors, which are situated beneath gabled half-dormer loft doors, along with some 20th-century windows. The roof is half-hipped. Inside, there are truncated upper-cruck trusses. This structure is included for its group value.
