Description
Magpie Cottage is a house from the early 18th century, located on Drayton High Street. It features a painted uncoursed stone rubble plinth and painted brick walls, topped with an old plain-tile roof and brick end stacks. The building is two stories high and has a three-window range. The central entrance consists of a plank door with a segmental brick head above it. To the left, there is a two-light casement window with a segmental brick head that includes a keystone, while to the right, there is a three-light casement window, also with a segmental brick head. A flat brick band runs between the ground and first floors, and there are two-light casement windows on the first floor. The right return of the cottage is finished in painted uncoursed stone rubble. The interior has not been inspected.
