Description

This is a mid-17th century house, with an early 19th century addition to the right. The ground floor is likely roughcast over brick, while the first floor has exposed timber framing with painted brick infill. The right-hand section is entirely of painted brick. The roof is covered in old plain tiles and is hall-hipped to the right. There are brick stacks on the left, in the centre, and to the right of the centre.

The house is two storeys and has an attic. It has a two-window front, with a two-storey, single-bay addition to the right. A ribbed door is centrally positioned. The windows are irregular and are 19th-century casements. A tile-hung cross-gable sits in the centre, containing a 19th-century two-light mullion window.

Inside, there is a straight staircase with winders, located in the centre of the ground floor, rising to the first floor. The roof is a Queen-post design, with later alterations, potentially related to a fire around 1770. Most of the fireplaces have been blocked and replaced with later surrounds.
