Description
No. 24 High Street is a farmhouse, now a house, with an early 19th-century front range and likely an 18th-century rear range. The building is constructed of red brick and features an old plain-tile hipped roof, with brick internal stacks at the rear. The façade is arranged as a two-storey, three-window range set at right angles to the street. The central entrance has a four-panel part-glazed door with an overlight above. There is a square flat-roofed open porch supported by thin Doric columns. On either side of the door, there are 16-pane unhorned sash windows with flat brick arches. The first floor has a 12-pane unhorned sash window in the centre, with 16-pane unhorned sashes on the left and right. The interior has not been inspected.
