GV II*

Town house, now offices. c.1700. Flemish bond flared brick, red brick quoins and dressings; old tile roof; flared and red brick stacks. L-plan. 2 storeys; 5-window range. C20 central door and window to right under continuous fascia. Gauged brick segmental arches over late C19 sashes. Coved cornice. Hipped roof; rear and left lateral stacks. 3-window range to left side wall, in Flemish bond brick with flared headers has first-floor windows of segmental arches over one-light and 2 two-light cross windows with leaded casements; similar late C18 three-storey wing to rear left with half-hipped old tile roof has C18 three-light leaded casement. Interior: C18 six-panelled doors, chamfered and stopped ground floor beams. To left is panelled room of c.1730 with marble fireplace flanked by Ionic pilasters. To rear of room is winder staircase of c.1730, with turned and fluted balusters on open string and panelled dado; decorative plaster motifs and moulded cornice to landing ceiling.
